In this unit you are going to read a story about ocean exploration. There are several activities that you need to do. You can access these activities by clicking on the links on the left. As you read the story, make sure to understand the theme. Use context clues to guess the meaning of teh words.
Verb: a word used to describe an action, state, or occurrence. (hear, walk, talk, etc..)
Noun: a word (other than a pronoun) used to identify any of a class of people, places, or things. (house, john, diversity, surrounding, etc..)
Adjective: modifies or describes nouns. (red, tall, dense, rough, etc..)
Adverb: it expresses a relation of place and time [usually add -ly to the word-densely, slowly, then (time), there(place) ].
